Cargo Winches War Effort
Cargo Winches lined up inthe Glasgow Engineering work shop ready for dispatch

During the years of the war the company worked 60 hours a week being divided into six ten hour days, building steam cargo winches for 10000 ton supply vessels that were being built interstate and also making sections for Bailey Bridges. Local Industries were getting work done as well during this time keeping everybody extremely busy.
